On May 14, ICF Romania and ICF Turkey come together for a cross-cultural conversation on resilience in coaching practice. Two speakers, two perspectives, one shared question: what does it actually take to stay grounded as a coach, and to help clients find clarity when the ground keeps shifting?

Ali Gülüm, PhD, MCC Combining 25+ years of multidisciplinary business experience with academic rigor, Ali is an MCC Master Coach and Organizational Sociologist (Ph.D.) specializing in Collective Creativity. Throughout his career, Ali has developed deep expertise in sales, operations, management, training, and organizational development across diverse sectors including Retail, FMCG, Services, Manufacturing, Tourism, and Education. He has direct, hands-on experience in managing B2B/B2C sales teams and coordinating company-wide operations. As an ICF MCC, he brings over 4,000 hours of coaching experience to his practice. Currently, he guides organizations through business transformation by aligning internal culture with market demands, helping leaders bridge the gap between complex business priorities and employee aspirations through strategic consulting and high-impact training. Raluca Cîmpea, PCC, ACTC - Raluca partners with senior leaders and organizations at the moments that matter most — when complexity increases, decisions carry greater weight, and the leadership approaches that once worked are no longer enough. With over 20 years of experience spanning leadership, entrepreneurship, project management, organizational development, training, and executive coaching, and more than 2,500 coaching hours, she supports executives and teams in building clarity, accountability, and sustainable performance through change, growth, and transition. Raluca holds an MBA from the Open University Business School (UK), is a PCC and ACTC credentialed Executive and Team Coach with the International Coaching Federation, a Change Management practitioner, and Past President of ICF Romania.
