Candidates for ICF Board of Directors

Well, I can call myself a developer of relationships. I continuously developed myself and I enjoy that. I appreciate what I learned so far as ICF volunteer and my wish is to find Coaching projects, to involve our community members.

I like to work with people and I am fascinated to observ and create space where people can perform and work together as a team. Because of this I started My PHD study on Team Coaching Field. My hobbies are running, climbing, cycling and skiing and I am sure as a ICF Romanian Board member we will enjoy a colectiv development and growing process.

Hi, I am Andreea Dana Alionte, I am a coach for more than seven years and I am happy to be in the wonderful community of ICF Romania. During my journey, as a coach, I learned to be aware of my abilities, to be present in each interaction with each person, to develop myself, and to share who I am and what I discovered in different contexts of life because you never know who will get inspired to do the same. Therefore, I am applying for the Development Director position to bring my contribution to the visibility and recognition of the coaching profession and to strengthen the coaching community in Romania. I want to be part of the volunteer team to help in the implementation of existing projects to develop new projects that promote this wonderful coaching community and the professional coach profession in Romania.

My mission is to create spaces where people come together to learn and grow. In ICF Romania, this means connecting to the power of being a coach and discovering how to grow in this profession and bring value into the world. My previous experiences were stepping stones leading to this moment, where I can lead the way for others to build a meaningful career and business in coaching. As Director of Membership, my aim is to build a strong community around the art and science of coaching, by supporting our members to grow their capabilities, mindset and coaching business.

I believe that by contributing, we fulfill the evolution mission we all have. By supporting personal and professional performance, we contribute to a better future for us and next generations.

I would love to be part of the board team and continue to contribute to the ICF Romania Chartered Chapter.
For the last two years I acted as Associate Director of Events and I was implicated in organizing learning events for the coaching community (Inspiring Talks, Annual ICF Romanian Conference, International Coaching Week) and create awareness about the role that coaching can have in a company through the series of events ‘’Inspiring Coaching Culture’’ which I also moderate.
As Director of Events, I just want to continue create memorable learning events for both the coaching and business community and to advocate for the role, standards and ethics of coaching.
