DESCRIPTION:\nWe will propose a decision-making framework to provoke insights into potential conflicts of interest in complex, unexpected circumstances. We will facilitate the use of the framework in a specific case study.\n· Learning objective 1: The participants will learn what a conflict of interest is, to focus their listening on noticing potential conflicts of interest for further investigation.\n· Learning objective 2: The participants will apply powerful questioning to gather relevant information and to provoke the clients’ critical thinking as a basis for potentially difficult decisions and courageous action.\nICF Competencies:\nCompetency 1 Ethics, nr 3. Professional Conduct and Conflicts of Interest, 3.1,3.2,3.3 respectively. This will be reflected through a case study.\nCompetency 7: Evokes Awareness Facilitates client insight and learning by using tools and techniques such as powerful questioning. This will be reflected through a proposed investigative framework.\nIulia Deac is an ICF Executive leadership Coaching Education designer, Mentor Coach, and Health and Tech industries Executive Coach. Educated as a Medical Doctor and in Change Management, Iulia has a deep understanding and hands-on coaching-Leadership and business development experience in the global Health and Tech corporate environment. Coming from a highly regulated profession, in medicine, Iulia believes in the professionalization of coaching as a scientific, data-driven, human-to-human intervention. Iulia resides in Cluj-Napoca, Transylvania, in the dynamic socio-economic environment of the Eastern European Union. She has a daughter, lives with her husband and two cats, and loves music and alpine skiing.\nSimina is an intensive care anesthesia resident doctor and studies psychology. The ICF coaching process and disciplines help her face professional and personal challenges every day.
